Do you know those moments when you find exactly what you were looking for? It gets even better when you’re not looking for something in particular, but finding something so breathtakingly beautiful that you need to shout it to the world... This is what happened to me last year, when I discovered this amazing images. It was really a beautiful coincidence, because I had just created my own styled shoot inspired by Greek mythology, an overall homage to Ovid’s “Metamorphoses”.

Elena’s shoot is inspired by Ovid’s tenth book, by the tragic love story of Orpheus and Eurydice, separated by death, reunited for such a short time, and then loosing each other for eternity.

This is a story about eternal love, about pains and separation, about life and death, about a woman and a man… the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice…

Their face expressions and gestures, her almost translucent skin, the Greek temple ruin and oh those black and gold prints – this is what I call artistic interpretation and symbolical illustration of a story.
Elena is not only an exquisite photographer, but also a super sweet person, whom I’m glad I met. Thank you, Elena, for allowing me to publish your shoot!

You cannot see her until you go to the earth, – Hades said – Come back to earth and know this: Eurydice will go after you. But do not look back and do not try to look at her. If you look back – you will lose her forever!
